As a scientist, we know that your time at sea is precious. That's why we've made SeaBird the most reliable sub available. With no propulsion system, simplified life support, and a minimal number of moving parts, you'll scrub fewer dives than your peers. With superior performance, you'll make more original observations, and with budgets tight everywhere, your department head will be your new best friend after all the money saved.
SeaBird Research/Survey can be certified to 300 feet, with even greater depths possible under certain circumstances. We will tailor lighting and video equipment to your specifications. With the optional station-keeping package, you'll be able to operate at a relative motion of zero and maneuver in 5 degrees of freedom at up to approximately 2 mph. The SeaBird Tour model is designed to deliver revenue by maximizing fun with minimum preparation and support. Fully controllable by either station, but with the ability to override controls at the instructor's rear station, SeaBird Two can accommodate customers of any age or ability.
