- Upgraded sonar communications system
An upgraded, high power unit. Contact us with range requirements and numbers for each type of unit (surface vessels, SeaBirds, divers or other subs). Please note that surface vessel units will require professional through-hull installation.
- Wired telemetry system
Offers the ability to transmit GPS and other data from surface to SeaBird as well as permitting video and other data to be sent back to the surface in real time.
- Upgraded telemetry system
Includes additional video monitors and upgraded underwater lighting, additional sensors such as water temperature, salinity, and sea-state and GPS data feed. Increases available telemetry bandwidth.

- Station keeping thrusters (available 2013)
This system will give future SeaBirds the capability to remain in one location for extended periods of observation and to maneuver independently of a tow vessel at speeds up to 2 mph. Some additional training will be required.
